Paul and I started Heavy Thunder Down Under Heavy Horse National Heavy Horse Magazine in 2001. And the full set is now archived in the National Library in Canberra. But hasn’t a lot of water passed under the bridge since then…wow! Well then, let me tell you a bit about us.
Hmmm…Paul is an engineer by profession and he has been around horses all his life. He has bred and shown Clydesdale’s and other breeds of horses successfully for about 30 + years and has won many major awards. He is also an Internationally recognized Horse Judge.
Jann has been around horses since she was 8 years old. She is a nurse by profession and has competed successfully three states of Australia with Arabian horses. Her horses have won major awards. She have also studied nursing and psychology at University and is a qualified nurse.
We have works cataloged in the National Library in Canberra Australia so are both published authors ISSN 1839-7093.
So as always, our plan is to publish a blog for all to enjoy. We will cover many breeds of horses in Australia and Paul and I would love to hear from you. This is your opportunity to share an experience, an interesting theory or a new idea. In fact anything you would like to contact us, as long as it is apolitical, you are most welcome to.
